IFair Organizer Michael Williams (L) with son Ty Williams (R). Senior Associate Nick Kendell is peeking through in the backgroundn the world of international education, the bulk of recruiting for the next school year takes place between October and February.  However, as the recruiting season advances, many international schools continue to have open positions. On March 9-12, 2017, Senior Associates Michael Williams and Harry Deelman hosted the Bangkok-Spring Job Fair, held at the Westin Grande Sukumvit Hotel in the heart of downtown.

With 29 schools and 70 candidates in attendance, the Bangkok-Spring Fair is a small, intimate, annual event. The fair’s comfortable size provides a fantastic opportunity for schools and candidates to identify quality matches, away from the intensity of Search Associates’ larger events. More than 170 available positions were posted by attending schools. This year’s fair featured international schools from around the world, with the largest group from Asia.

Senior Associate Harry Deelman and his wife and office associate, Margaret, ready and eager to assist candidates and recruitersThe four-day event featured a myriad of opportunities for candidates and recruiters to connect, including presentations by schools and associates, an interview sign-up session, and a rooftop reception with a panoramic view of the city.  As always, the Westin Grande Sukumvit was an excellent host for the fair, with attendees praising its convenient location and supportive staff.

Senior Associate Nick Kendell, who will be taking over operations of the Bangkok January and Bangkok-Spring fairs beginning in 2018, was in attendance.  Also present were the fair’s generous sponsors, Trinity Holding International and SCI Employee Benefits.
